Mary Walford< no role > Aged about 27 years on her
Oath says she never was Married nor ever was an Apprentice
or a yearly hired Servant for one year says she has been Informed and
which Information she verily believeth to be true that her Father Jonathan
Walford
< no role > deceased served three years the Last Part of his Apprentice
-ship with Mr. Jaques at the Castle in Portugal Street in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster
and never Rented Ten Pounds a year or paid Taxes to this Examinants
knowledge or belief And further upon her Voluntary Oath says
she is Pregnant with Child or Children which is or are likely to be
born a Bastard or Bastards & to become chargeable to the said Parish
of Saint Clement Danes she being Poor and unable to maintain
the same when born says that William Arman< no role > Servant to
one Mr. Bethen a Cow-keeper at Walworth in the County of
Surry had Carnal Knowledge of her Body some time in the
Month of April last and Several times afterwards at one of which
times he got her with Child of the Child or Children with which
is now Pregnant and that the said William Arman and no other
Person did beget the same
