Sarah Patten< no role > aged about 47 Years Upon
Oath says, she is the wife of James Patten< no role > with
whom she intermarried in the Parish Church of
St. Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex
about three Months ago, says the said James
Patten
< no role > rented a house in Houghton Street in
the said Parish of St. Clement Danes of the Yearly
Rent of Twenty Six Pounds lived therein about five
Years and hath quitted same about Five Years
and hath not since Rented house or paid Taxes
as this Examinant hath been informed by her said
husband and which information she verily believes
to be true; says her said husband hath deserted
her, whereby she is become chargeable to the
said Parish of St. Clement Danes
