Upon Oath says she is the Widow of Peter Slater< no role > This name instance is in set 4661.
who has been dead upwards of Ten Years, says Her
said husband informed her & which information
she verily believes to be true that he was bound an
Apprentice for Seven Years to Mr. Cerson a Cabinet
maker on Clerkenwell Green in the Parish of St.
James Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex and
served him three Years & a half the first part of
his said Apprenticeship & then his said Master died
& never was assigned over to any other person nor
Rented Ten Pounds a Year paid Taxes or lived a
hired Yearly Servant for one Year, Says she has
not since her said husbands death done any Act
whereby to gain a Subsequent Settlement, and
that she hath a Daughter by her said late husband
(to wit) Eleanor< no role > aged about Eighteen Years who never
was Married or was an Apprentice or Yearly
Servant.
