Ann Marlow< no role > aged about 27 Years lodging
at Mr. Hawkins's in Clements Lane in the Parish
of St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr. within
the County of Middlesex upon Oath says she was
never Married and that she lived a hired Yearly
Servant with William Matthew Burt< no role > Esqr. in
the Liberty of Maiden Early in the parish of Sunning
in the County of Berks for One Year and upwards
at the Yearly Wages of four Pounds hath quitted
said Service about three Years and hath not
since Rented Ten Pounds a Year paid Taxes
or lived a hired Yearly Servant for one Year
And further upon her Voluntary Oath says
that on the 15th. day of July 1764 she was delivered
of a Male Bastard Child in the House of the
above named Mr. Hawkins in the said Parish
of St. Clement Danes which hath since been
baptized by the Name of William < no role > and that
James Flowers< no role > a Labourer who was the
reputed Father of the said Child died on the
22d. day of May 1765.
