Alice Lake< no role > Wife of John Lake< no role > upon her Oath saith
that upwds. of Twenty Years ago she intermaryed
with her sd. Husband Jno. Lake< no role > at the Parish Church
of St. Andrew Holbourn on the 18th- Day of Octr- &
that her sd. Husband was bound an Apprentice to
and served his Apprentiship with his Father in
the Parish of Wiggen in the County of Lancaster
that since his sd. Apprentispp he hath not rented
Ten Pounds a Year pd. Parish Taxes lived with any
Person as a Yearly hired Servt. for the Space of One
Year or otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any other
Place to her knowledge or beleife that her Husband
absconds from her & she being Poor is not able to
maintaine herself

Septr. 1741 before}
