Ormston< no role > Passed from the Parish of St. James in the
Liberty of Westmr . by Order bearing Date the 27th. Day
of June last Taken the 11th. Day of July 1740 Who
upon her Oath saith yt. her Husband Rt. Ormston
Rented & lived in a House in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes the County of Middx of the Yearly Rent of
£12 for the space of 3 Years & upwds. And this
Examinant further saith yt. her sd. Husband hath
not since he left the sd. House Rented £10 a Year
Paid Parish Taxes lived with any Person as a Yearly
hired Servt. or otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any
other Place to her Knowledge or beleife, That her
said Husband now absconds from her & haveing two
small Childn. (to wit) Sarah< no role > aged abt. 3 Years and
Jane< no role > aged One Year & upwds. & being Poor is
not able to maintaine herselfe & Childn.
