The Examination of Elizth. Sparrow< no role > Singlewoman aged about
20 Years Lodging in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the
County of Middx Taken the 19th. Day of March 1739
Who upon her Oath saith that her late Father Edward
Sparrow
< no role > before his Intermarriage with Ann< no role > her Mother and
whilst he was a Singleman lived a Yearly hired Servt . with one
Mr. Lilley Apothecary in the Parish of St. Paul Covent Gard.
in the Liberty of Westmr . for the space of Six Months and
upwds. and after the sd. Intermarriage continued to live and
reside in the same Service & undr. the same agreemt. two
Years or thereabts. And further saith that her sd. Father
in his life or Ann her Mother since his Death never Rented
any House neither hath she this Examint. lived with any
Person as a Yearly hired Servt. or as an Apprentice or
otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to her
knowledge or beleife & being Poor & Sick is not able
to maintaine herselfe
