The Exaicon of Sarah Cook< no role > Singlewoman liveing as a Yearly
hired Servt . at the Temple Eating House in Shier Lane in the
Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the sd. County of Middx who upon
her Voluntary Oath Saith that she is Pregnant with Child
wch when born will be a Bastard or Bastards & likely to
become Chargeable to the sd. Parish of St. Clemt. Danes she
this Exaiant being Poor & not able to maintaine the same
when born And further upon her Oath Saith that one John
Williams
< no role > now a waiter at the Maidenhead in Ram Alley in the
Parish of St. Dunstan in the West London did begett the sd. Bastard
Child or Children on her body he the sd. Jno. Williams< no role > liveing fellen
Servt . with this Exaiant at the Temple Eating House as aforesd.
there became acquainted with her & had Carnall Knowledge
of her body two Sevll. times in the Month of March last at one of
wch times he got her with the Bastard Child or Children with
wch she is now Pregnant & that he & no other Person is the
true & reall father thereof and this Exaiant further Saith that
she hath lived upwards of one Yeare at the sd. Temple Eating a
House & hath not gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to her
knowledge or beleife
