Oath says she never was married Rented House or paid
Taxes Says she lived a hired yearly Servant with one
Mr. Latham a Baker in Blackmoor Street in the Parish
of St. Clement Danes upwards of Eight Months at the
yearly Wages of four Pounds Ten Shillings hath quitted
her said Service about Eight Months ago since which time
she hath gained no other Settlement And further on
her Voluntary Oath says she is pregnant with Child or
Children which is or are likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards
& to become Chargeable to the said Parish she being Poor
& unable to Maintain the same when born And further
says that one Andrew Stevens< no role > a Surgeon of the Navy
who lodges at Mrs. Tiffins No. 277 Strand is the father
thereof he having had Carnal knowledge of her Body
at the said Mrs. Tiffins House afsd. sometime in the
Month of May last and at sevl. difft. times aftwds at one
of which times he got her with Child of the Child or Childn.
of which she is now Pregnant & that the said Andrew
Stevens

the real & true father thereof
