to wit Elizth. Oldridge< no role > Aged about Twenty Years on her
Oath Says she never was married Rented House or paid Taxes
Says she lived a hired Yearly Servant with Mr. Jones a Clark
in the Bank who lodged at Mr. Adams the Corner of Butcher
shall Lane in the parish of Christ Church in the City of London
for Two Years the first Year at the Yearly Wages of Three pounds
& the last Year at the Yearly Wages of four Pounds hath quitted
her said Service upwards of Two Years since which time she
never lived a hired Yearly Servant for One Year and further on
her Oath Says that on the fifth day of July last she was
delived of a Male Bastard Child in the House of Mr. Tasker
in little Stanhope Street in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes
in the Liberty of Westmr . which is intended to be Baptized George< no role >
and is likely to become Chargeable to the sd. Parish of Saint
Clement Danes And further says that one Henry Bennett< no role > a
Journeyman Bricklayer who lately lived with his Father at
Wellington in the County of Somerset is the Father thereof he
having had Carnal knowledge of her Body at her Lodgings at
Mr. Burnetts the Fountain in Wych Street in the sd. Parish of
St. Clement Danes sometime in the Month of Septr. last but the
particular day she does not now remember and at sevl. different
times afterwards at one of which times he get her with Child of
the Male Bastard Child of which she was so delivered as aforesd.
And that the said Henry Bennett< no role > & no other person did beget the
same and that he is the real & true Father thereof
