to wit Mary Hatfield< no role > Aged about Thirty five Years on
her Oath says she is the Widow of John Hatfield< no role > deceased
with whom she Intermarried at Christ Church London about
four Years ago and by whom she hath no Child or Children living
Says that being a Widow and without Child or Children she
went to live as a Hired Yearly Servant with Mr. Rosier a
Button Seller in Wych Street in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes in the Liberty of Westmr upwards of One Year at the
Yearly Wages of Eight Guineas and where she at present
lives And further on her Voluntary Oath says she is pregnant
with Child or Children which is or are likely to be born a Bastard
or Bastards and to become Chargable to the said Parish of Saint
Clement Danes (she being Poor and unable to Maintain the
same when born) And further says that one Charles Walker< no role >
Shopman to the said Mr Hosier did beget such Bastard Child
or Children on her Body in his the said Mr Hosiers House
some time in the Month of December last but the particular
day she does not now remember at at different times
afterwards at one of which times he got her with Child of
the Child or Children of which she is now pregnant of
and that the said Charles Walker< no role > and no other person did
beget the same and that he is the real & true Father
thereof.
