to wit Ann Appleby< no role > Aged about Twenty Two years on her Oath says she
never was Married Rented House or paid Taxes or ever lived a hired
yearly Servant for One year with any person whatsoever says her
Father Charles Appleby < no role > Rented and lived in a House in the Parish
of Witcombe in the City of Bath in the County of Somerset for Sworne
years at the yearly Rent of Ten Pounds and upwards hath quitted said
House about Ten years ago and after quitting said House he never
gained any other subsequent settlement to her knowledge or Belief
and further on her Voluntary Oath says that on the 20th. day of
February last she was delivered of a Male Bastard Child in the
House of Mr. Baily in ship yard near Temple Barr in the said
Parish of Saint Clement Danes which is Intended to be baptized by
the name of William< no role > and is now Chargeable to the said Parish and
further says that One Anthony Meyer< no role > late a servant to
Wrexall Esqr. her late master and who afterwards went to live
with a Gentleman who Lodged at No. 1 in Cushion Court
Broad Street near the Royal Exchange London and who is now
gone abroad did beget such Bastard Child on her Body in her
[..] said late masters Lodgings in Bond Street aforesaid some
time in the Month of July last but the particular Day she does not
now remember and at several Different times afterwards at One of which
times he got her with Child of the Male Bastard Child of which she
was so delivered as aforesaid and that the said Anthony Meyer< no role >
[..] & no other person did beget the same & that he is the Father thereof
