Mary Hubbard< no role > Aged about Twenty Two years on
her Oath Says She never was married Rented House or paid
Taxes Says she lived a hired yearly Servant with Mr.
Roberts at the Union Coffee house Temple Bar in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes for fourteen Months at
the yearly Wages of Six Guineas hath quitted her said
Service about Ten Months ago since which time she hath
gained no other subsequent Settlement And further upon
her Voluntary Oath Says that on the first day of September
1777 she was delivered of a Female Bastard Child in an
Hospital Called the Westminster new Lying in Hospital
near Westmr. Bridge in the County of Surry which was
soon afterwards Baptized Hannah< no role > and is now Chargeable
to the Parish of Saint Clement Danes she being poor and
unable to maintain the same And that one Thomas
Box
< no role > a Footman to Lady Dashwood in St. James Palaces
is the Father thereof he having had Carnal knowledge of
her Body sometime in the Month of October 1776 but the
Particular Day she does not now remember and at sevl.
different times afterwards at one of which times he got her
with Child of the Female Bastard Child of which she was
so delivered as aforesaid And that the said Thomas Box< no role > &
no other Person did beget the same and that he is the real
and true Father thereof
