Elizabeth Davis< no role > aged about Twenty Two years on her
Oath says she is the Wife of William Davis< no role > now a
Soldier in the Tenth Regiment of Foot now lying at
Chatham Barricks in the County of Kent with whom
she Intermarried at the Parish Church of Saint James
in the City of Bath about three years ago and by whom
she hath one Child named Jane< no role > aged about Ten weeks
and this Examinant further says that her said
Husband hath [..] other Children living by a Former
wife namely William< no role > aged about thirteen years and
Thomas< no role > aged about five Years says that it appears
from an Examination taken in Writing the 26th. Day
of June Instant that her said Husband Rented
and lived in a House at Bathford in the County of
Somerset for Nine Months at the Yearly Rent of
£16 a year and paid Taxes due for the same and
that her said Husband hath gained no other
subsequent Settlement since Quiting the same
which Examination this Examinant Verily believes
to be true.
