Middlesex Westmr.

to wit Mary Nicholls< no role > aged about Twenty Eight
years on her Oath Says that she has gone by the Name
of Mary Ashby< no role > for several years past on Account of
her Cohabiting with a Man Whose Name was Robert
Ashby
< no role > but that she never was married to him and that
he has been dead for upwards of Ten years Says that
after his Death she Rented and lived in a House under
the Piazza Covent Garden upwards of Six Months at
the Yearly Rent of forty five Guineas P Annum
that she lived therein upwards of Six Months and
paid half a years Rent for the same but never paid
any poors Rate or other Taxes to her knowledge or
beliefe hath quitted the said Houses about five years
ago since which time she hath gained no other subseqt.
settlemt. either by Renting House paying Taxes or
living a hired yearly Servant for one year
