Elizth- Kirby< no role > aged about 24 Years on her Oath says she never
was Married Rented house or Paid Taxes Says she lived a
hired Yearly Servant with one Richd. Jones< no role > at the Spotted Dog
in Strand Lane in the Parish of St- Clement Danes in the
Liberty of Westmr - upwards oftentwelve Monthsagoat the Yearly
Wages of £3 hath quitted her said Service upwards of
twoMonthsYears ago since which time she hath gained no or-
subseqt- Settlemt- either by Renting house Paying Taxes
or living a hired Yearly Servant for one Year And further
upon her Voluntary Oath saith she is Pregnant with
Child or Children which is or are likely to be born a Bastard
or Bastards and to become chargeable to the said Parish
she being. Poor and unable to maintain the same where
born And further Says that one John Davis< no role > This name instance is in set 2076. an Hostler
to Mr- Hollingsworth a Horse Dealer in little
Moor Fields is the Father thereof He having had Carnal
Knowl of her Body sometime in April or May but
the particular Day she does not now rember and at
sevl- difft- times afterwds- at one of which times he got
her with Child of the Child or Children of which she is
now Pregnant And that the said John Davis< no role > and no
other Person did beget the same & that he is the
real & true Father thereof
