Margt- Andrew< no role > aged about 25 Years on her Oath
says she never was Married Rented house or Paid
Taxes Says she lived a hired Yearly Servant with
one Wm- Bannister< no role > at the Rose & Crown in Clare Court
in the Psh of St- Clemt- Danes in the Liberty of Westmr -
upwds- of twelve Months at the Yearly Wages of £4 hath
quitted her said Service upwds- of four Years ago since
which time she hath gained no other subseqt- Settlemt-
either by Renting house Paying Taxes or living a
hired Yearly Servant for one Year And furr- says that
on the 21st- Day of Octr- last she was Delivd of a
Female Bastard Child in the Work house belongg-
to the sd- Parish which has since been baptized by the
Name of Ann< no role > and is now Chargeable to the sd- Parish
Says that one Jas. Thompson< no role > a Journeyman Cabinet Maker
who works with one Mr- Chippendale a Cabinet Maker
in St- Martins Lane is the Father thereof He having
had Carnal Knowl of her Body sometime in the latter
end of Decr- 1776 or Janry last past but the Particular
Day she does not now rember & at sevl- difft- times afterwds-
at one of which times he got her with Child of theChild or
ChildrenFemale Bastard Child of which she was so
Delivd- as afsd- & that the said Jas- Thompson< no role > & no other
person did beget the same and that he is the real and
true Father thereof
