and the deceased went out with his said Friend
andwho returned with him about ¼ past 11
at Night and staid with him till twelve
and then left him as he was to go out of Town
the next morning the said deceased then told
my Maid Servant to call him the next
morning (Sunday the 11th Instt.) by 8 o'Clock
that about ½ past seven o'Clock Yesterday
morning (the sd. 11th Instt. I heard a Noise
and I thought it had been occasioned by my
Maid Servant pulling down the Shutter
in the Fore Parlour but had no Idea of its
being the report of a Pistol
[..] My Servant went up Stairs at 8 in
the morning to call up the deceased, and she
did call to him but as he made no Answer she
thought he was fast asleep and therefore did not
disturb him but came down Stairs and went
up to his Room door about half an hour
afterwards and Knocked at the door [..] and called to him but received no
Answer and then found that his Door was
looked and the Key within Sideandupon which
she
She came down Stairs and acquainted me
with the Circumstance when it immediately
Struck me that the Noise which I had heard
was the report of a Pistol upon which
I ran up Stairs immediately to see if all
his Pistol were in the [..] Fore Room
on the first Floor where they always
used to lie, and perceived that one of
them was gone and then finding his Bed
Room Door fastned and he making no
Answer I then applied to Mr. Pye the
Magistrate who directed me to get the
Door forced open therefore in my Way
home I called upon Mr. Pinney a
Carpenter who went with me and forced
open the Door and upon entering
the Room we found the deceased lying
upon his Back on the Bed with [..] a
Pistol in his Hands which had find off
into his Mouth and two Leaden Bullets]
appear to have gone this the back part
of his head and were found in theFloor
wall behind the [..] head
and much Blood on the Bed Cloaths
and the Floor and then no Sign of
Life
