George Hanover Square at the Dwelling house
of John Talbot< no role > the Sign of the Black Lion and French
Horn in Pollin Street Maddex Street before
Anthony Gell< no role > his Majesty's Coroner
for the said City and Liberty, touching
the Death of Charles [..] payne Gallway< no role >
then and there lying dead , as follow
to wit.

John Thompson< no role > servant to the deceased Charles
Payne< no role > Galway being sworn deposith Street
onFridaySaturday Morning last the 18th. [..]
his matter the deceased Charles Payne< no role > Galway
returned home from a Masquerade and went
up stairs soon after his return
to his Bedroom deced immediately and
and this Deponent attended him and staid whilst
he undressed himself in the Front Room two
Pair of stairs and too then went into the Back
room where he slept and staid whilst he
got into Bed and then retired but left the
Candle with him as he constantly
read when he was in Bed. That about four
