Informations taken this Thirtieth day of
October 1789 at the Parish of St. John the
Evangelist within the Liberty of Westmr .
in the County of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of a Woman unknown
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
of County.

Joseph Peacock< no role > at Mr. John< no role > & Richard Gouch< no role >
of Abringdon Street in the Parish of St. John the
Evangelist Westmr. Corn Merchants on his Oath
saith That Yesterday Morning about Seven
o'Clock a West County Barge was loading same
Oats and Beary at the Wharf of Messrs. Gouch
on Mill Bank in the Parish of St. John the
Evangelist , says that the Mop belonging to
the Barge by some Accident fell into the
Thomas and was drove to the said of a Barge
there the John then flowing says that a Morn
belonging to the Barge Stopped over another
Barge to get his Mop, and immediately
cryed there was a Drown Man in the [..]
upon which this Dept and two Other Men was
down,and Dept. saw a Woman (the Deced
lying in the Mud with her face down wards
about half covered with Water says that
he assisted to pull up the Deced with a Rope
and laid her upon are of Mr. Burenell
and Company Barge says that he observed no
Marks of Violence upon the Body, nor
did he know the Deced.
