This Dept. in two or three days asked
Deced (who was then Sensible) where he
was going to when the Accident happened
the Deced Answered that he was going to
Mr. Thornell in Berkley Square , Saying
what Business had the Ox to Pummel him
in that Manner, he was going fast
enough before, That Deced the same or
the following day told Dept. he was dying
the most mi [..] able Death, Says that
the Deced died on Monday the fourteenth
Instant in Dept. was informed and
believes that the Deced died in consequence
of the wound the received in his side
Says that the Deced has been very ill
for some time before the Accident happened
having the Sp [..] s, That he drank
some Liquor every Morning in Bed
and never got up sober, and continued
Drinking the greatest part of the Day.
and Dept. says that the Deced was not sober
on the fifteenth day of July last when he
went out before the Accident happened,
and Says that the Deced, was so weak
and fea [..] e that he believes the Deced was
not able to go out of the Way of the Ox
Says that, Mr. Walker the Surgeon attended
the Deced who has a Fever and was often
bled, and Mr. Walker in about a Week
after the Wound was [..] told Dept. that
Deced was going Wound and he believed
would not receive and that the Wound
would cause his Death but that he might
live [..] long as the Moisture lasted.
