Informations taken this Sixteenth day
of Augt: 1786 at the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square within the Liberty
of Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the death of
Thomas Day< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

Thomas Anderson< no role > of Swallow Street Carpenter
on his Oath saith That he was at work Yesterday
upon the House [..] Berkley in Dover
Street in the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square that Thomas Day< no role > a Brick layer
was likwise at Work there, Says that
[..] the Deced was Standing
upon a Board and pointing a little
piece at the top of a Window back wards
two pair of [..] Stairs Says that this Dept.
being in the Back Room even with the
Deced, and hearing a Rushing Missed
the Deced and thought he was fallen
down, and Dept. went down Stairs
immediately and found the Deced
lying on the Back Flat even with the
Parlour, Says that he lifted up the
Deced in his Arms, who bled very much
and was not able to speak or move
himself Says that a Surgeon was fetched
who cut off some of the Hair and Dept.
then saw a Wound on the Back part
of Deced's Head, and he died in about
four Minutes. and Dept. says that the
Deced's fall was merely Accidental.
