Upstairs with me saying I am afraid
my Father has Hanged himself I have
been trying [..] to open the Door
but could not says that he went with
the Son, and with his Knee pushed the
Deced's Room door a little way open
and putting on his Arm he felt Deced's
Hugh and afterwards his Body about
were not Cold. but appeared to be Dead,
Says that they both went in and Dept.
saw the Deced lying down on the inside
of the Door with his Head near the Floor
and part of his Body across the Chair
says that the son took a piece of small
Cord, with a running Noose from about
the Deced's Neck, says that the Cold
lead cut into Deced's Rock, and Dept.
believes that the Deced Hanged himself
says that other People were called into
the Room and Deced's Son took up
a piece of Cord and a Scissars from the
farthest Window from the Door.

Edward Hall< no role > of Long Acre Apothecary on his
Oath saith, that this Morning about Seven
o'Clock Deced's son came to him desiring
him to come to his Father who has Hanged
himself upon which he went to Deced's Room
and saw him lying upon the Bed, having
the Mark of a Cord about his Neck, says that
the Deced appeared to have been dead about
two Floors, from the little warenthappear
remaining in his Body. Says that on his
asking for the Cord Deced's Son took a
piece of Cord and a pair of Scissars from
the farthest Window in the Room, Says that the
Deced's Son likewise informed him that his
Father had made several attempts upon his
Life before.

Oath saith that Thomas Tomlinson< no role > the [..]
Lodged in a Room on the First Floor in
Depts. House, that the Deced and his son
come home last Night about a Quarter after
five o'Clock, and Dept. did not sea the Deced
Son go out, Says that the Street Door was
Bottled and Locked went Night before Eleven
o'Clock by Depts. Order.

Richard Lane< no role > a Lodger at Mrs. Sparks on
his Oath saith That about three o'Clock this
Morning he heard a Noise in Deced's Room
on the First Floor, and Depts, wife said that
she had heard it a letter before, and Dept.
thought that the Deced by son were in Liquor
as they frequently used to be, Says that by
the sound Dept. thought it was at the Deced
Room Door. Says that he got up about
a Quarter after five this morning and [..]
out to his Work, found the Street Door
Bolted, and left it Latched.
