both his Feet, on the Floor, there being a
great Quantity of Blood on the Floor near
the Deced's Feet, and some Blood upon
the Bed Cloaths, Says that he observed a
wound in Deced's Throat, but the Blood
was stopped, and the Deced appeared to
be dead. Says that to lived there about
abouta Month and has twice heard a Noice
in the House and was informed by one
of the Lodgers, that the Deced and his Wife
were fighting, but Dept. never saw
them Fighting. Says that Mrs. Small
appeared to be dull when he gave her
his Key last Night and that she cryed
in the Cotter after the Deced was dead.

Ann Fielder< no role > a Lodger to the late Mr. Small
in Mount Street on the First Floor on her
Oath saith that she has lodged there about
a Year, That Yesterday about Seven
o'Clock in the Evening Mr. Small come home
lighted her Candle at the Petty of the Kitchen Stairs [..] and went
down Stairs to the Kitchen Door, where
she lived, knocked at the Door saying
return let me in, upon which the Door
his referred and Mrs. Small went in
Says that some time a person in the Dept. said that after she heard
Mrs. Small (as Dept. thought) Seream, and
[..] out of the House, Dept. thought that
it might be the Deced and his Wife durally
which frequently happend.

William Small< no role > of New James Street
in the Parish of St. Mary le bone , on his
Oath saith That on his return home Yesterday
Evening between Nine and Ten o'Clock
Dept. was informed that Ann Small (Deced's
Wife) had been there, saying that she must
see him if it was two o'Clock in the
Morning, says that he immediately went
to the Deced's Lodging called at the Door
and having no answer he want up to
Mrs. Fielder's Room, who said that she
believed the Deced was gone to Bed two
hours before as she believed in Liquor
and that Mrs. Small was not better
says that he went out, met Mr. Hooper
in the Street, and soon after saw Mrs. Small
go to her own Door, saying to Dept that his
Cousin lay in the Kitchin with his
Throat Cut Says that Mrs. Small, Mr. Hooke
Mr Brooks apprentice , Mr. Perquell and
this Dept. went into the Kitchen, (which
Mr. Small occupied) and upon the side
of the Bed saw the Deced sitting, leaving
backwards, with his feet upon the Floor
in some Blood, there being likewise
Blood upon the Bed Cloths appearing to
be dead, and Cold, Says that he was he sleped
and did not observe the Wound in Deced's
Throat, but saw a Razor when the Floor on
Says that the Deced was Naked, but that
there was a Dirty Shirt upon his Body
to cover his Nakeness. Says that he
does not suspect that Mrs. Small did any
