Informations taken this Twenty
third day of September 1784 at the Parish
of St Martin in the Fields within the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of
Middlesex upon an Inquisition touching
the Death of Thomas Tomlinson< no role > being
dead by the said Parish Liberty and
County

Jane Witton< no role > wife of John Witton< no role > Coachmaker
in Leg Alley in the Parish of St. Martin in [..]
the Feles on her Oath saith, That Yestereda [..]
about Six o'Clock in the Evening Dept. saw
Thomas Tomlinson< no role > the Deced Eating his Supper
in his own Room in the House of Mrs. Sparkle
in Leg Alley aforesaid, Says that about Eleven
o'Clock Deced's son (who used to sleep with
Deced) came to the Door knocked, and
called, Deced came to the window and
the Son desired him to open the Door
Deced saying he had no Keys the son
attempted to throw the Key of the Room [..]
Door to Deced who stood at the Window,
but could not, the Key falling into the area
upon which the Son went away saying that
he would go to get a Lodging, and desired
the Deced to go to Bed, saying God Oldingly
Bless go, says that she saw the Deced's son
this Morning between Eight & Nine o'Clock
who said that his Father had Hanged
himself and that he had attempted it before

appearing to be much conceived saying to
