Informations of Witnesses taken upon
Oath this 23d day of August 1782 at the
Dwelling House of Mr Robert Barnett< no role > the
Sign of the Coach and Horses in Charles Street
in the Parish of St Paul Covent Garden in the
Liberty of Westminster Before Thos Prickard< no role >
Gentleman His Majesty's Coroner for the
City and Liberty of Westminster on View of
the Body of Thomas Holman< no role > then and there
lying Dead

Samuel Oxford< no role > who works with Mr Burk a Taylor at Mrs
Caves in Charles Street Covent Garden the Granby Head on his
Oath saith that yesterday Morning about Ten o Clock he was
called up by Mrs Burk and Mrs Coves Sister to the deceased
Room in Mrs Cavis House and desired him to bake upon the
Decesed Room Door, the Door was locked and the they within
like, and in arenching the Door off the timges the Key fell out
when Deponent entered the Room he saw the Deceased lying on
his back on the Bed with his right Leg on the Floor and the
Rocking half was down, there was a Chamber Pot in a Charge
