Informations taken this Thirteenth
day of September 1782 at the Parish of St
Paul Covent Garden within the Liberty of
Westmr in the County of Midsex upon an
Inquisition touching the death of Margaret
Darrall
< no role > lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County

Sarah Cook< no role > of little Hart Street in the Parish of St
Paul Covent Garden Widow on her Oath saith, that
Margaret Darrell< no role > the Deced and her Husband
Robert Darrell< no role > have lodged with Dept about
two years, Says that the Deced (as Dept. was
informed) came home on Wednesday last the
Eleventh Instant about half hour after Eleven
o'Clock in the fornoon, and Woman with
her, the Deced being much in Liquor, Says
that about One o'Clock Thomas Darrell< no role > the
Husband came home to Dinner went up Stars
and called Peggy, and rattled at the Door, says
that he came down immediately and on being
told that the Deced was gone up Stairs he went
up again, but did not get into his Room
and returned immediately and went away
Says that about half hour after Eleven that
might, Robert Darrell< no role > came hours and
went up stairs That in about three Minutes
he came deced stairs Saying that he desired
to Speak with her and that she would be
Kind enought togo with him up stairs and
said that her Wife was either Dead or ina
Fit, Says that she went up and saw the
Deced lying down upon the Floor and or
great deal of Blood and Matte [..] of a following Covger in different
Places there, Says that the Deced was dead
and Cold, and quite Shiff appearne to have
been dead some time Says that Mr Darrell
