Greenbank Genyson< no role > late House keeper to
Henry Ballowe< no role > Esqr . on her Oath saith that
the Deced got up this Morning about Nine o'Clock
and Breakfasted soon after, appearing to
be very cheerfull and good natured, and
ordered his Dinner, Says that she went
to Market, and soon after her return
Mr. Skurley the Barber came to Shave the
Deced as usual, went up, and very soon
returned saying that the Deced was not
in the Dining Room, upon Which Dept.
desired him to go up again, and to look into
the Bed chamber, That he soon came down
again saying that the Deced was upon the
Floor, and thought he was asleep, upon
which Dept. want up and saw the Deced
lying on the Floor in his Bedchamber, and
said that her Master had killed himself
but Dept. was so frightened that she did not
then [..] the Blood upon the Floor, but afterwards
saw it, and a Pistol on the Floor by the Deced
and Dept. believes that the Deced shot himself.
Says that the Deced was sometimes low
Spirited.
