come out of Bed, that they all told Dept. that
Mr. Graham the Deced event out about Nine
o'Clock that Evening, and then said that if he did not
return about Eleven o'Clock he shod. stay out
all Night, Says that he went down stairs
with the two other Watchmen lifted up the
Deced in the Area, who was not able to
speak, Says that he carried the Deced up Stair
and put him into his own Bed in a two
pair of Stairs Room,whereThat the Deced was Bled
in the Kitchen, That Mr. Gillis the Surgeon
afterwards come to Deced and Dept. was
soon after informed that the Deced was dead,
Says that he found a Cane betweenbythe Iron Rail
and the Street Door which Dept. was informed
belonged to Mr. Graham the Deced, Says that
he heard no Noise or knowing at Deced's Door that Night
before he found the Deced, But Dept. says
that at three o'Clock on Sunday Morning
(Jany. 30th Dept.) heard some Quarrelling in
the Deced's House two pair of Stairs, and a
voice (which he took to be a Woman's Voice)
say I am your Wife and I'll Murder You
to which a Man (as he thought) answered
You shall fare no better for that.

Surgeon on his Oath saith That yesterday Morning
between three and four o'Clock Dept. was desired
to come to John Graham< no role > the Deced whom he
found on a Bed in his House in little Maddox
Street , dead, Says thathe Examined the Deced
on the Examination there appeared such
deformity in the Upper Vertebra of the Neck
as induced Dept. to thinkitto be the cause
of his Death and Dept. apprehends there might
be a Dislocation.

the Deced, on her Oath saith That on Sunday
last in the Evening, after dark, the Deced
was going out of his House in little Maddox
Street ordered Dept. to keep in his Fire a
little while, Says that she asked Deced when
she shod. lay the Cloth to which he answered
as he went out of the Door that he could
not tell when he should return whether
at Eleven Twelve One or Two o Clock, Says
that she sat up until Twelve o'Clock waiting
for her Master but he did not come home
that she then went to Bed, and was
awaked when the Watchman knocked at
their Door, that she looked out at the Window
when the Watchman informed her that a Man
lay in the Area and that he believed it was
the Gentleman who kept the House, that she
acquainted her Mistress who Screamed out
but Dept. cannot recollect what she then said,
Says that she. & a Young Lad her Brother
went down to the Door and her Mistress
immediately followed, That the Watchmen
went into the Area and lifted up the Deced
who lay there, unable to speak, Says that
the Deced was Bled in the Kitchin and afterwards
carried up Stairs into the Bedchamber where
he died in about half an [..] hour Says that
the Deced some time staid out all Night, but
Dept. never knew the Deced attempt to come
in thro' the Area, and is very sure that
the Deced was not in his own House on
Sunday Night last, since he went out that
Evening. And this Dept. says that the Deced
and Mrs. Ferguson, who lived with him
sometimes Quarrlled, and that they had some
difference last Sunday Morning when Deced
was in Liquor about three o'Clock, That
