being at that time in the Water under the
Second Arch as Dept. apprehends, Says that
he spoke afterwards to Deced but had no
Answer the Deced being then Drowning
as Dept. believes.

James Keyler< no role > a Watchman of the Parish
of St. Martin in the Fields Watchman
on his Oath saith That about Twelve o'Clock
on Monday Night last John Fling< no role > the Deced
came to Depts. Watch Box at the Upper End
of St. Martins Lane , having been some
Years acquainted, Says that they both
went to a Publick House there with another
Watchman and drank two Pots of Beer
and the Deced drank afterwards a Glass of
Gin, Says that the Deced told Dept. that
three Shillings had been given him by
a Person whom he went with from
south Lambeth into Surry Street in the
Strand Says that he came down with
the Deced St. Martins Lane and left him
at the End of St. Martins Court about half
hour past Twelve, the Deced then appearing
to be quite Sober.

Schoolmaster on his Oath saith, That on Monday
Night last John Fling< no role > the Deced went to
Guard a Gentleman and two Ladies about
ten o'Clock from Depts. House into Surry Street
in the Strand . Says that the Deced did not
return nor did he hear any thing of the
Deced

Deced until Yesterday when he was
informed that the Deced was taken up
Drowned at Westmr. Bridge.
