Informations taken this First
day of February 1780 at the Parish
of St. George Hanover Square within
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Middlesex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of John Graham< no role > This name instance is in set 221.
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

Thomas Wilson< no role > one of the Watchmen of
the Parish of St George Hanover Square on his
Oath saith, That on Sunday Night last
(January 30th.) after he had cry'd the
hour of One, Dept. was going along
little Maddox Street in the Parish of
St. George Hanover Square when he heard some
Person Groom in the Area of a House
there, that he looked over the Rails
and by the light of his Lanthorn
he discovered the Deced lying down
there, that in a little time the growing
Ceased, That he knocked very hard at
the Door for a long time before he could
make any Body hear, That he called
two other Watchmen who came there
and that in about Twenty Minute a
Gentlewoman looked out of the two pair
of Stairs Window asking what was the
Matter and on Depts. saying that a Man
lay in the Area, and that he was informed
it was the Gentleman that kept the House
upon which she appeared to be much
frightened & concern'ed saying, O Lord
my Graham, That immediately after
a Maid Servant and a Young Lad come
to the Door dressed, and the Gentlewoman
soon followed, undressed, appearing to have come
