and his Heels upwards, Deponent went towards the Deced
and saw him forth at the Month, she then went down and
called for Brother, and then went into the Street and called
a Neighbour one Mrs. Pearce to come, and her Brother went
up and brought the Deced down in his Arms immediately,
into the Yard, and Mrs. Peasea came and went to be Deced
andsheDeponent then sent for Mr. Kamp an Apothecary to come
to assist, Deponent does not know that any Words but
Common about the Business passed between her Brother and
the Deceased, nor does she know that any Blows were given
by her Brother to the Deceased says that the Deceased was
in general a good Boy and that her Brother used him well
and she does not know that her Brother ever corrected him
but by words sometimes to threaten him, and that the
Deceased used to mind what was said to him and do as
he was Ordered .

on his Oath saith That on Thursday the 7th. day of August 1777
he saw the Deced about Seven o' Clock in the Morning in the
Shop

Shop, had put his Bread up in a Basket to go out as usual
Deponent took the Loaves out of the Basket to count them
and found one more than the Deceased had desired before to be
Scored to him, says he has counted the Loaves before but
it was not very usual, and does not remember that he
ever found them wrong before, Deponent then Scolded him
and was very angry with him and told him it was very
wrong and [..] the Deceased then went into the Bakehouse
and Deponent followed him into the Yard scolding him, A
little before Eight o' Clock in the Morning Deponent went
into the Bakehouse to draw the Roles, and he then bid
the Deceased go into he Store Room out of the way, and
Deponent sent a New Man that come over Night out with
the Bread, that the Deceased was to have carried out
Deponent says a little Girl came for Roles that the Deced
used generally to carry them to, and the Girl said to the
Deponent in a low Voice, the Roles were Paid for Yesterday
and the Deced being then in the Store Room over were the
Roles were Serving, called out very quick, No they was not
