James Meredith Parratt< no role > Apothecary to the Westmr.
Hospital in the Parish of St. Margaret Westmr on his
Oath saith, that on the Twentieth day of September last
past John Chapman< no role > the Deced was brought to said
Hospital as a Casualty, Says that the Deced complained
that he had receda hurt bya fall down Stairs with
a lack of Flour on his back, and thereby reced a Hurt
in his back bone near his Neck, Says that the Deced
was Examined and that no External Marks appeared
on him, Says that the Deced had last the the Me of his Hands
and feet, and took very Little sustenance, and died
in the Hospital between three and four o'Clock yesterday
Afternoon; Says that the Body of the Deced was
opened this day in the presence of several of the
Surgeons in the Hospital, and that some of them
told this Dept. that they found a Rupture in the Deceds
Bladder, and that it was Mortified, which this Dept.
Believes was occasioned by the fall abovementioned.
