Wm. Dunmore< no role > of the parish of St George Hanover Square in the
County of Middx Pawnbroker Maketh Oath that he this Deponent
was bound before Henry Trent< no role > Esqr . one of the Justices of the peace for
the City and Liberty of Westmr for the Psonal appearance of him this
Dept & one Mary< no role > the wife of John Campbell< no role > to prosecute the Law in
Effect against Margaret Perry< no role > for feloniously Stealing one Shirt
& two Clouts & one Shift value Ten pence the propeity of the sd John
Campbell and this Dept saith that some time before the sd Session
he this Dept. went to the sd Mary Campbell< no role > & desired her to go
with him this Dept. to the sd Session to prosecute the sd Margaret
Perry
< no role > for the Felony aforesd & that she the sd Mary Campbell< no role > made
Answer to this Dept. that she shod not trouble her head about
or Words to that Effect & refused to go with this Dept to the [..]
Sessions to prosecute the sd Margaret Perry< no role > And this Dept
Saith That he was Ignorant that the Justice should bend this
Dept. in a recognizance for the appearance of a Stranger which
this Dept. never saw before and was a Stranger to him this Dept.
& he this Dept. being Ignorant in Matters of this Kind and being
[..] Informed that the sd Dept could
not prosecute by himself he this Dept. for the reasons aforesd
& no other neglected to Attend at the sd Session himself &
prosecute the sd Margt Perry< no role > And Apprehending himself
only to give Evidence as the being in no otherwise concerned
but in Taking the Goods into Pawn
