On the Prosecution of Judith< no role > the Wife of Patrick Black< no role > .

The Defendt. in this Cause maketh Oath that one Robert Tillford< no role >
who is Coachman to Samuel Tuffnell< no role > Esqr . of Albemarle Street
is now with his said Master in the Countrey without whose
Testimony this Depont. cannot safely proceed to the Tryal of this
Cause. And this Deponent caused a special Messenger to go after
the said Robert Tillford< no role > to his said Master's Seat in the County
of Essex Which is Forty Miles from London on Wednesday
last in order to bring the said Robert Tillford< no role > to London to give
Evidence on this Deponts. Behalf Which said Messenger retured
from thence Yesterday in the Evening and informed this Deponent
that the said Robert Tillford< no role > was gone with the said Samuel
Tuffnell Esqr . into the County of Surry but where could not
particularly tell. And this Deponent Further on his Oath
saith that the said Robert Tillford< no role > is the only material Witness
for him in this Cause and without whose Evidence this Deponent
cannot safely proceed to Tryal as aforesaid.
