Westmr. To wit.

To the Constable, Headborough , Tythingman, and other Officer
of the Peace of the Parish of Sr. Margaret in the
City of Westminster
within the said to receive and convey,
And to the Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, or Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish, Place or Precinct of Tring
in theCounty of Hertford
or either of them to receive and obey

WHEREAS Jane Tring who hath been
lawfully Marry'd to Joseph Tring< no role >
a Soldier gone from her) hath been
apprehended in the said Parish of Sr. Margaret's
as a Rogue and Vagabond, (videlicet) wandering & begging

and upon Examination of the said Jane Tring< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that the last legal
Settlement of the said Joseph Tring this
said Wife Jane and their Child Joseph
aged about fourteen Months is in the sd.
Parish of Tring in the County of
Hertford
These are therefore to require you the said Constable or other Officer
to Convey the said Jane Tring< no role >
and her said Child Joseph< no role >
to the Town of Barnett in Hertford that being the first
in the next Precinct thro' which they ought to pass in the
direct Way to the said Parish of Tring to which
they are to be sent and to deliver them to the Constable or
other Officer of such Town in such next Precinct, together with this
Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said Vagrant
taking his Receipt for the same. And the said Vagrant and
her said Child are to be thence conveyed on in like Manner to
the said Parish of Tring thereto be delivered to some Church
Warden, Chapel-Warden, or Overseer of the Poor of the same Parish
to be there provided for according to Law. And you the said Church-
Warden, Chapel-Warden, and Overseer of the Poor are hereby required
to receive the said Person s and provide for them as aforesaid. Given un-
der my Hand and Seal this 20th Day of Septemr.
