Whereas by an Order made at the General Quarter Sessions of the peace held at the Town
Court House near Westminster Hall in and for the Liberty of the Demand Chapter of the Ellegiate
Church of Saint Peter Westminster the City Borough and Town of Westminster in the County of
Middlesex and Saint Martin Le Grand London on Wednesday the Seventeenth Day of April in
the Eighteenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great
Britain, Etc. It was Referred to the Right Honble John Lord De Lawarr The Right Honble
John Lord Chetwynd, The Right Honble George Lord Carpenter< no role > Francis Burton< no role > , Richard
Whitworth< no role > Esqr . Sir Thomas Clarges< no role > Baronet William Morice< no role > Thomas Rea
and Lewis Charles Montolien Esqrs . Justices of the Peace for this City and Liberty or any
two of them to Summon the late Surveyors of the Highways of the Parish of Saint George
Hanover Square before them to inspect and Examine the Accounts of the late Surveyors
and Collectors of the Monies Collected and Received for the Repair of the Highways and
Pavements of the said Parish for the year last past and also of their Payments thereout
And Whereas by the said Order the Justices are desired to Report and Certifty a State
of the said Accounts in Writing with their Opinion thereupon to this Court

Now We Thomas Rea< no role > and Francis Burton< no role > Esqrs . two of the said Justices
Do in pursuance of the said Order hereby Certifye a State of the said Accounts which
are within Written and We are of Opinion the Same are Just and reasonable Given
under our Hands this 12th. Day of July 1745.
