THE Examination of Margaret Glass< no role >

Rogue andVagabond apprehended by John
Ilsley Bedell< no role >
in the Parish of Sr. Margaret
Westminster and brought before me one
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City
of Westmr. aforesaid. And taken before me
this 31st Day of August in the Year of our
Lord 17 45.

This Examinant on her Oath says, That She was
Marry'd to Roger Glass< no role > a Soldier (who
she beleives in Dead, at Gallloway in
Ireland upwards of 17 Years since by
whom she hath two Children now living
(to wit) Joseph< no role > Aged upwards of 16 Years
and Hannah< no role > aged upwards of 14 Years
who have not neither of'em obtained any
Settlement This Deponent further saith
that her said Husband was born in
Bell fast in Ireland and served an
Apprentiship there to a Sawyer
and hath not by any means obtained
any settlement since to the best of this
Deponents knowledge, she further saiths
that she is Destitute of all manner of
employ and hath no way or means at
present to get a Livelyhood.
