The Minutes of the last General Court held the
20th. May 1773 were read and Confirmed

The Clerk acquainted this Court that since the
last General, Court there had been received the following Donations
& Legacys from the Governors of this Hospital

Mr Thomas Greame< no role > 50..-..-

Subscriptions were recommended by Mr. President
towards defraying the great Charge and Expence of this Hospital

There was Subscribed as follows
John Frederick< no role > Esqr 50..-..-

Mr President acquainted the Court that the
Immediate Occasion of calling the same was to chuse a Physician
in the Room of Dr . James Greive< no role > Deceased

The Petitions of Dr. Rawlinson & Dr. Smyth
were severally read praying to be Elected Physician to this Hospital
in the room of the said Dr. James Greive

Chose Physician


The Court then produced to the Election by
Ballot for the said Dr Rawlinson and Dr Smyth and on casting
up the Ballot it appeared that the Numbers were for Dr Rawlinson
120 and for Dr Smyth 106

Whereupon the said Dr. Rawlinson was declared
duty Elected Physician to this Hospital to Hold the same during
the pleasure of this Court and he was called in and acquainted
with His Election
