To the Rt: Honble: the Marquis of Carnarvan
a Lease of the two Fields at Southgate now in Lease
to Mr: Alderman Turner at the Clear Rent of £10
Pr: Ann for 21 Years to Commence from the Expira
-tion of the present Lease. The Committee being
informed that the Alderman does not intend to
Renew his said. Lease.

John Methering

We have agreed with John Metheringham< no role >
to let him the House in St. Thomas's Parish late held
by John Evison< no role > as Tenant at Will at the Rent of
£10 Pr. Ann from Chrsmas 1763. The said John Me
thringham to have Liberty to Build a Work Shop
over one end of the Yard and to be obliged to leave the
House in its present Condition

James Hill


We have agreed with Mr. James Hill< no role > to
take a Lease of the House in St. Saviours Church
Yard for 21 Years from Lady day 1764 at £24: Pr: Ann
Rent and the Hospital to Allow £80. towards the
Sum of £140 to be laid out in Repairs under the
Inspection of Mr. Jupp the Hospital Surveyor
for the use of the Minister of St: Thomas's Parish.

John Chilly chose
porter of Back Gate


Upon the Death of George Griffin< no role > late
Porter of the Back Gate we Appointed John Evison< no role >
one of the Beadles to Succeed him: and we chose John
Chitty
< no role > Beadle in his Room But the said John
Evison finding the Duty of Porter too hard for his
health: Prayed to be reinstated in his former Place
as Beadle. And the said John Chitty Praying to be
Chose. Porter. We have appointed the said John Chitty
to be Porter of the back Gate And reinstated John
Evison in his former place of Beadle.

John Welch
Chose Receiver


We have Directed that John Welch< no role >
whom Mr: Treasurer has appointed to be his Receiver
(in the Room of Mr: Richard Leeson< no role > now Steward of
this Hospital) have the same Allowances of Coals,
Small Beer Etc: as were allowed the said Mr. Leeson
