£87. The Hospital to allow them one Year & quarter
Rent towards substantial Repairs & improvements par-
ticularly in Building a new Room on the top of the lends
of the House

Peruke Maker a lease of Four Houses in Fleet Lane
late held by his Aunt Mary Phipps< no role > deceased for 21 years
from Michas 1763 at the old clear Rent of £13: and the
Tenant to lay out in Repairs £160.

To John Thorp< no role > a new lease of his dwelling
House near Gun Dock Wapping for 21 Years from Lady
day 1764 when his present lease will expire at the old
clear Rent of £6. and a Fine of £60. which he immediately
paid down And he is to put the Premisses into substantial
Repair

To Thomas Dawson< no role > Esqr ; upon his Surrend-
ering his present lease of his dwelling House in Front and
Seventeen other houses behind the same in George Alley
Southwark opposite where the King's Bench Prison stood
a new lease of the said Premisses for 50 Years from Chrmas
1762. at the old clear Rent of £24 and a fine of £50 Land
Tax to be allowed on £15. part of the said Rent.

Seperate leases of two old houses in St. Thomas's Parish
opposite the back Gate of this Hospital for 51 Years from
Chrmas 1763 at the clear yearly Rent of £2..10s. for each
House. and they are to pull down the said old houses and to
Build two brick houses in room thereof agreable to a plan
laid before your Committee by Mr. Jupp our Surveyor
and who is to superintend & see that the Houses are built
according to the said Plann, and that they do lay out and
Expend therein £450 at least.

Hum Randall


To Humphry Randall< no role > in consideration of
his having laid out in Building seven or eight new Houses
in Kent Street upwards of £600. and of his obliging him
self to lay out £400 more in further new Buildings on
the Premisses he now holds of this Hospital consisting of
sundry Houses situate on the West side of Kent Street
