We being sensible of many mischeifs and inconveniencies attending
our present usage and practice with respect to the Allowance of fees
and perquisites to the Sisters and Nurses who attend the care of the severall
Wards of the House And that there is likewise wanting a proper
regulation of other fees and allowances We have considered of methods
for preventing those evils and upon mature deliberation came to
the following Resolutions which if approved by the General Court
we hope will greatly tend to the better Government of the Hospital
and the good and welfare of the Poor Patients entertained therein.

It is our Opinion that the present method of the Sisters and

patients in this Hospital by inducing of oppressions or neglects
of them and ought to be altered.
