The Orders and Proceedings of the last General Court were read
approved and Confirmed.
The President acquainted the Court that the Grand Comittee
had upon information of the badness and inconvenience of several
Buildings Part of this Hospital caused the same to be viewed
and had prepared a Report concerning the same Which Report
was read and is as follows Vizt.
To the Right Worshipfull the General Court of St. Thomas's
Hospital
.
The Grand Committee being informed that several Buildings
of this Hospital were in very bad condition and some of them
very inconvenient for the purposes they are used They have
caused a view to be taken and the Buildings to be Surveyed
by proper workmen and do find.
That the Wards in the lower Square are extremely decayed
and in great danger of a falling And the Doctors roome
Apothecaries House Dissecting roome Cutting room Surgery
room and the Brewhouse are likewise ruinous in their condition
or very inconvenient.
The said Grand Committee are of Opinion that the said
