former part of this Report Our Treasurer having been taken very Ill and
Continuing so Bad that he could not Attend this Committee or the General Court
We desired Mr. Lade Mr. Halsey and Mr. Kenrick to Goe to him from this Committee
to Inquire of his Health Who having waited on him accordingly Reported That
they found him very Ill in Bed And that he made it his Request to the General
Court in respect of his Indisposition and the greatness of his own Private Affaires
to Choose another Treasurer in his Place Assuring them further That the Regard
he has for this Hospital is such That he will not only be ready and willing to
Do the Hospital any Service he can but also to Assist his Successor with his best
advice whensoever required of him.

Judgmt. of this Court.

Which Report and all the Matters and things therein contained were
Approved and Allowed by this Court And the same was Ordered to be Entred
in the Reportory of the Proceedings of this Court.

Several of the Gentlemen now Present Subscribed Considerable Sums of
Mony towards the great and extraordinary Charge of this Hospital.

This Court being informed That Mr. Nehemiah Lyde< no role > one of the Standing
Auditors desires to Resigne And this Court Agreeing thereto Proceeded to
Choose another Standing Auditor in his Room And Henry Lovell< no role > Esqr . was
unanimously Chosen to be One of the Standing Auditors.

The Eight following Gentlemen Vizt. Joseph Brooksbank< no role > Esqr . Mr. Thomas
Hollis
< no role > Mr. James Ruck< no role > Moses Raper< no role > Esqr . Edmund Halsey< no role > Esqr . John Lade< no role > Esqr .
Dr . John Francis Fanquier< no role > and Mr. Nathaniel Garland< no role > were Chosen Auditors to
Joine with the Four Standing Auditors in Auditing Mr. Treasurers Accompt for
the year ending at Lady Day 1724. And likewise from theme to this day In
regard he hath this day Resigned his place of Treasurer of this Hospital as
appeares by the Report from the Grand Committee His Illness hindring him
from doing the same in this Court.

And it is Ordered and Directed That the said late Treasurer shall pay
what shall appeare on the Ballance of his Accompt to be in his hands to such
person as shall be Chosen by this Court to Succeed him in the said Office of
Treasurer And that the Receipt of such Person so Chosen as aforesaid shall
be a full Discharge to him for the same.
