Gratuities Given
to Drs. & Surgeons}


Grant to Mr Moore

Twenty Guineas to be Given to Each of the Doctors And the like Sumes
to Mr. Ferne and to Mr. Girle (since Deceased) And to the Widdow of
Mr. Simon Rydoubt< no role > Deceased And Wee have Ordered That Fifty
Pounds be Given to Mrs. Davis the Sister and Administratrix of Mr.
John Davis< no role > Decd our Late Apothecary as a Gratificacon for his Extraordinary
Charge of Medicines from the time of his last Allowance to his
Death And for what were Extraordinarily used afterwards till
the Hospitall began to Prepare their own Medicines Wee have
Agreed with Mr. Townley on the Behalfe of Mr. Moore Executor to
Captn. Richard Moore< no role > Deced to Grant the said Mr. Moore a New Lease of
the Mannor of Bewick Garth in Holderness in the County of Yorke
from Whitsontide 1715. (at which time the present Lease expires) for
the further Terme of One and twenty Years at the old Rent of £50. P Ann
iN which Lease Covenants are to be Incerted That he shall not Plow
break up or Convert into Tillage any Ground belonging to the Hospitall
which hath not frequently heretofore been Plowed up Without
Lycence from the Grand Committee of Governours of the said
Hospitall Under the Penalty of £3. Additionall Yearly Rent for
Every Acr [..] And that he shall be Oblidged to Continue a Tennant
with a Family always Residing in the Mansion House And other
proper Covenants He is to pay £1800. as a Fine for this Lease in
manner following vizt. £1000. imediately and the Remainder by
Annuall Payments of £200. on the Feast Days of St. Michaell the
Archangell in every Yeare The first Payment to begin at
Michas 1715. And the late Tennant Captn. Moore having represented
this Estate to Contain about 160. Acres less than Appeared by our
Antient Surveys The last whereof was taken about 100. Years
agoe Wee Caused a Now Survey to be made thereof Which Mr.
Treasurer was pleased to take the Trouble of Attending in Person
And thereupon found out the whole Quantity of the said Land.

Wee have Agreed with Dr. Peachy our Tennant of a House
in Bow Lane London (which with others there near adjoyning
were Given to this Hospitall by Mr. Parsons Deceased) to add Eleven
Years to the Ten Years from Christmas last for which He is Intituled
to have a Lease of the said House by vertue of Articles made
between him and the said Mr Parsons at the Old Rack Rent of
£30. P Ann.

Hawkins

Wee have Agreed with Mrs. Mary Hawkins< no role > our Tennant
of a Small House in St. Thomas's Parish to Grant her a New Lease
thereof for 21. Years from the End of her present Lease being
Michas 1722. at the Old Rent of £2.4s. P Ann In Consideracon of a
Fine of £32.5s. to be paid within a Week after the making of the
said Agreement.

And Wee have Agreed with Henry Tombes< no role > our Tennant
of an Old House in Leaden Hall Street London to Grant him a New
Lease for 21. Years from Lady Day 1716. (when the present Lease
Expires) at the Old Yearly Rent of £5. In Consideracon of a Fine of
£161.5s. to be paid within a Fortnight after the making of the said
Agreement.

And lastly Wee are to Acquaint this Court That Dr.
Richard Mead< no role > one of our Physicians on the 5th. of this Instant
January Attended this Committee and in the most respectfull
