A Booke for Increase
& Decrease of Rents


Wee have Ordered That Entryes be made in a Proper Book to be
kept by the Receiver for that Purpose of all Increase and Decrease of
Rents and Fines Sett upon Renewalls of Leases for the more ready
Satisfaction of the Auditors concerning the same

Wee have Agreed with William Jennings< no role > to Grant him a
Lease of a Small Farme in Roydon or Parndon in the County of
Essex late in Possession of John Adams< no role > together with the Coppice in
Parndon (Parcells of our late Purchase from Mr. William Browne< no role >
and Ux) for 12 Years from Michas 1714. at the Rack Rent of £10. P Ann
And the House Barne and other Buildings being left by the said
John Adams< no role > much out of Repaire Wee are to Repair the same by
Lady Day next But the said Adams who is a Bricklayer and had
a Lease of the said Farme Obligeing him to Repairs has Agreed
to Contribute by his Worke and otherwise towards the said Repairs

Wee finding upon a Veiw taken of the House at the Corner
of Basing Lane in Bow Lane London now in the possession of
One Mr. Clarke Tallow Chandler Held of this Hospitall at the Rack
Rent of £16. P Annm upon a Lease wherein about 11 Years are yet
to come That the same is Defective in the Corner Post and other
Substantiall parts Ordered the said Clarke to Repaire the same
forthwith And if afterwards Appearing to Us That he had laid
out and Expended therein upwards of £33. and has Repaired it
Substantially and that what he has done is a Lasting Repaire Wee
have Ordered him to be Allowed the Years Rent which was due
at Christmas 1714. towards the said Charge But he is to pay the
Taxes for that Yeare.

Ejectments to be
delivered to Capt.
Rues Tenants.


Wee have Caused Ejectments to Captn.
Rues Tennants of severall Old Houses in St. Thomas's Parish for
non payment of Rent And Mr. Treasurer hath made a Reentry
upon the same Whereby the Lease (of which about five Years
are Yet to come is Avoided And the Under tennants have
Attorned Tennants to the Hospitall And the said Houses being
very much out of Repaire and ready to fall And the said Captn.
Rue being gone beyond Sea And no Person duely Impowered
to Act for him in Relacon to the said Repairs Wee have Ordered
That the said Houses be forthwith put into Tennantable
Repaire And have desired Mr. Treasurer to Lett the same in
the best manner that he can for the Benefitt of the Hospitall
during the Remainder of the said Lease.

and Attendances during the late Warr Wee have Ordered
