Accts. of the Hospll:
to be Setled at
Lady Day Yearly

Wee taking Notice that severall Difficultyes & Inconveniencing
have hapned upon the Stating of the Generall Accompts of
this Hospitall to Michas yearely are of Opinion That
it will be more convenient and propper for the
Service of this Hospitall to have the sd. Accompts made
up and setled to Lady day yearely And that the
present Accompt be made up to Lady Day next and
not to Michas last and humbly recommend the same
to this Court to be Ordered accordingly.

Brewer & Poutlers
place in one person.

The Brewhouse in this Hospitall being now
Finished and it being necessary to have a person well
Skilled in Brewing kept in the Hospitall for that Service
Wee are humbly of Opinion that to prevent the
Multiplying or Increase of Officers the places of Butler
and Brewer should be hereafter in One person And
to the Intent that due Care may be taken in Brewing &
Looking after the Beer That the Grand Comittee should
have power to place & Displace such person from
Time to Time as the said Comittee shall see Cause
with Liberty of recomending such person from Time
to Time to the Generall Court for their Choice.

Order relating to
the Age of the Officr:
or Servt. when Chosen
Considered of a
None to be Chosen
above 50: years Old}

The place of Steward in this Hospitall becoming
Vacant by the Death of Mr: Peter Gray< no role > Wee have
perused the Order made at a Generall Court the
Sixth of Decemb: One Thousand Seaven Hundred
& Six whereby no Officer or Servant of this Hospitall
Man or Woman should for the future be chosen
who is above Fifty yeares of Age and not of a
healthy constitution And Wee are humbly of
Opinion from the Observations Wee have made
in the Affaires of this Hospitall That the sd: Order
will tend much to the Service & Benefitt of the
Hospitall & ought to be Observed.
