Governors of
the said Hospitall

The Orders and proceedings of the last Generall
Court were read and Confirmed

A Report from the Conmittee of this Hospitall was Read in
the Wards following (vizt )

To the Right Worshipfull the Generall Court of the Governrs:
of the Hospitall of St. Thomas the Apostle

Wee of the Comittee for Manageing the Affaires of this
Hospitall Doe certifye our proceedings since the last Court as
followeth (vizt )

Trears House

Pursueant to the Direccon of the last Generall Court touching the
Building of a house for the use of the Treasurer of this Hospitall for the time
being Wee frist took into our Consideracon where the same might be
most Conveniently Erected. And haveing viewed severall places Wee
found that the Scite of the Old Hall would be most propper for that
purpose As well by reason of its lyeing Contiguous to the New Hall
as for Conveniency of passage to it. And we were the rather Inclined
to this place because the Buildings there were much Lower then the rest
of the hospitall and were very antient (and as it afterwards Appeared
in the pulling downe of those Buildings ) were very Defective in the
principall Timbers. Wee have since Agreed with Workmen and
made some progress in the Building of the said house And have therein
reserved a Convenient Roome for the use of the Comittee and also a
Compting house or Bookhouse upon Same Floore with the New
Hall And Wee have likewise taken Care of a Lodge for the Porter
of the Back Gate.

New Governrs.

Wee have Sent Green Staffs to the severall Gentlemen hereunder Named
Desiring them to Accept the Officer of Governors of this Hospitall (vizt ) Thomas
Guy
< no role > Esqr . Francis Edwards< no role > Esqr . Mr. John Guy< no role > Mr. Edward Bowey< no role > and Mr.
Richard Mount< no role > .
