Porters duty about
Suffering Patients
to go abroad and
return home


Item That the Porters do dilligently keep their gates and
Suffer no Poor to go out but upon necessary occasions and if any so
going abroad return not in due time or be disordered with Drink
such person or persons for every such Offence shall be expelled the
house

Orders to be read
to the Takes in


Item That such of these Orders as concern admitting Paticons
and their behaviour after admission be read every time the Takers
in meet to receive Poor by the Steward that they bring alloweiys
acquainted therewith may also charge the Poor upon their admittance
with the Observation thereof

About building the
Church


And whereas the Parish Church of St: Thomas in Southwark
being ready to fall and provision made for rebuilding thereof by Act
of Parliament for raising Three Thousand pounds for the same
in Four years to comence from Michmas 1700 out of a duty
upon Couled And the said Church has bin for sometime
demollished for Fear of Falling, We humbly ofter it as our
Opinions That the said Church be rebuilt on the ground where
the old Church stood, with enlargement to the street according to
a Scheam ready drawn out for that purpose

The Orderd to be
printed


The building to
be sett in hand

And it is Ordered by this Court that the Ordered touchings
the Officers and Poor be forthwith printed and published And that
the building of said Wards on the Southside of the large vacant ground
according to the Form menconed in the said report And the Comittee
are hereby impowered and Authorised to agree with workmen & order
all payments matters and things relating thereunto by themselves
or any Comittee by them to be appointed
