Mr. Paynder apphed to the Committee and requested that [..] ead
of the lease ordered at a former Committee to be granted to him of the
three houses biult by him in Saint Thomas's Street three aparax
Lease ought be granted of those howes Vizt. Two to Mr. John
Hanscomb
< no role > of Chapham in Surry Builder of the two [..]
houses at the yearly rents of £10 and £3. and the that to Mr
Richard Fothergill< no role > of the same place Carpenter at the yearly rent of £8.
making together the Annual as and of £21. which Mr. Po [..] was
to pay for the Ground whereon those houses hair been built. The
Committee taking the same unto consideration agreed to this request
and ordered the Lowes to be granted accordingly Mr. Hanscomb and
Mr. Fothergell agreeing to pay the sum of £7. which would be the
amount of the Alienation fine in the case of an Assignment. But
Mr. Paynder having in the exection of such three houses made two
winderss on the West side of the West [..] house without the
authority of the Committee and contrary to the intent of their agreement
with him the Committee required a compensation for the purbege of
such windows and for an Area to socure the enjoyment thereof and
agreed to accept of £20.. for the same and to grant such prin [..] for the
him of the Lease which are is to be of the width of 7 feet 6 inches from
the West side of the said Westermost house and of the depth of about 17
feet from the Wall of the Hospital
